JULY 1, 2021

We arrived in Millersburg, OH. known as Ohio’s Amish Country. As soon as we hit the city limits, I (Elaine) suddenly had the urge to buy furniture and quilts. LOL

We are frequenting the fresh meat market and veggie markets. We have plenty to keep us busy for the next month with Flea Markets, Fabric Stores, & restaurants.

This is a special place.  As one watches the Amish way of life it does bring a piece and an urge to slow down and smell the roses.

The locals travel by horse & buggy or on electric bikes. It is common to see passenger vans with locals getting a ride to restaurants.

I don’t think you could ever get tired of seeing the horse and buggies along the road.

The backroads are peaceful and beautiful.

Businesses have 'hitching post' for the horses and some have free electric charging stations for the electric bikes.

JUNE 21 – JUNE 30, 2021

On June 21, 2021 we left Ocala, Florida headed north. To say we were excited about finally getting to travel would not even begin to describe it.

We praise God that He provided good health and comfort during the last few stressful months of dealing with all the issued COVID threw our way. But alas it is behind us and onward we go.

June 21, 2021

Our first stop, for one night, was Southern RV Park in Brunswick, Ga. They have a restaurant onsite making it nice to have a good breakfast before heading out.

June 22, 2021

One night stop at Barnyard RV Park, Lexington, SC.

June 23, 2021

Mayberry Campground, Mount Airy, NC - Home to the TV Show - Mayberry RFD.

We spent a week here and enjoyed every minute of it.

Our spot was on top of the hill, a pull in, so this was the view out our front window. The sunsets and mountain view was spectacular.

We enjoyed the museum and it made us realize what an innocent time it was when we were growing up.

June 30, 2021

A night spent in the Cracker Barrell, Mineral Wells, WV. parking lot. This was the first time either of us had traveled I-77. Lots of wicked curves, toll booths (yes toll booths), and a couple of tunnels. All worth the beautiful view.

MAY 17-21, 2021

FINALLY!!!   We got the wheels rolling after months of no travel. This trip gave us an opportunity to make sure everything was working correctly as we plan our future travels. All worked perfectly.

RALLY TIME:   We are members of the All-Inclusive Motorhome Club (AIM). We attended the 5 day “Fun + Sun = Florida” club rally hosted at the beautiful Cabana Club RV Resort, 361 Denton Ave, Auburndale, FL 33823.

As always AIM pulled off a topnotch rally with Swamp Airboat rides, a private Rodeo, and a ‘behind the scene’ event at Sea World. If you aren’t a member of AIM I would highly recommend it.

All tucked in for a week of fun.

Amazing facilities.

Food Trucks for our 1st night of dinner. Perfect!

What a wild year everyone is having.

We have opted out of travel this year and enjoying the Florida sun instead. Looking forward to the fall when all our RV buddies return for the winter.

Stay Safe my friends.
